Once upon a time there was a beautiful maiden who lived on the other side of the rainbow. Her name was Kat.

A jealous witch cast a spell upon the maiden that transformed Kat into a turtle.

Living in the sea was interesting, but when the Moon drifted to the West, Kat would come ashore and return to human form.

One day a Mariner wandered by and discovered Kat walking barefoot along the shore. He was beguiled. Kat told the Mariner of her dilemma.

“I am the mirror of myself. I am the before and after. I am the Sea Smoke of the Soul”

He invited her to his home. Kat told him that she must return to the sea before dusk...

Kat and the Mariner wanted to find a way to break the witch’s curse. So they sought out the wisdom of the Sorcerer of the Driftwoods.

The Sorcerer explained that they had to build Dream Sculptures for each of the Eight Tenets of Alchemy; The Signs of “The Vision Quest, The Promise, Compassion, Absolution, Synchronicity, Emergence, Continuity, and Transmogrification.”

The Sorcerer then said that when all eight were completed, they should be placed in a circular fashion facing one/another and the sea. The energy created will then brake the spell of the jealous witch!

But first, the Sorcerer said that they must journey to find the Gossamer King and solve his riddle.

When Kat and the Mariner found the Gossamer King in the dark of the forest, he spun the riddle.

“What is left, when everything is gone?”

The next day they returned to the King with the answer to his riddle...

And so...

Kat and the Mariner lived happily ever after.
